Our solution

There are an increasing number of waste desert lands in the world, reducing the availability of agricultural land and agricultural yields. The quality of life for low-income people in desert regions decreases. My solution can overcome this challenge through my innovative desert green house. So far, we had built over two thousand desert green houses in Xinjiang, China. Many African desert countries also made requests to us for project work cooperation and replication in these desert countries.

What's the business opportunity for host and refugee community

Refugees can be hosted to live in desert regions (or rock land region) usually uninhabited by host communities to build desert green houses and get rid of the reliance on jobs and accommodations provided by host communities, refugees can work in desert green houses to produce vegetables and fruits and sell them to host communities to receive stable income to buy other goods from host communities, the business exchange between refugees and host communities can be strengthened by this solution.

How has it been implemented and what impact it had

Our desert green house project work has made more than 1.4 million square meter desert land into forest land and arable land and created more than 1200 new jobs with stable income for marginalized groups, forming a more sustainable development environment for desert communities in Xinjiang and other parts of China in the past 5 years. Furthermore, residents near or in desert regions have a better ecological environment due to fewer sand and dust storms reduced by built desert green houses.
